Who we are

Grumbles is provided by GRUMBLES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16709360). Our registered office is 102 Bowen Court, St Asaph Business Park, St Asaph, LL17 0JE.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean GRUMBLES LIMITED, "you" means the person using Grumbles, and "Grumbles" means our mobile app and related services.

Who can use Grumbles

Grumbles is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the app, and Grumbles is not intended for anyone under 18.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including your login details and your device. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account. You agree to give accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

Using Grumbles responsibly

Grumbles is a place to share the things that bug you and find people who feel the same. You agree to use it lawfully and to treat other people with respect.

You must not post or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, or that infringes anyone else's rights or privacy. In particular:

• No harassment, threats, bullying or targeted abuse.
• No hate speech or content that incites violence.
• No illegal content, spam or scams.
• No impersonation or misleading identities.
• No content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content so that we can operate and provide Grumbles. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where it has already been shared with others or where we must keep it to comply with the law.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it. You can delete your content, and your account, at any time.

Keeping the community safe

You can block, mute and report other people and posts directly in the app. Reports help us keep the community safe.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or our community standards. We review reported content and may act on it, but we can't guarantee that every piece of content will be reviewed.

Availability of the service

We work hard to keep Grumbles running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We can't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage we could not reasonably foresee, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Grumbles grows. If we make material changes we'll let you know in the app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use Grumbles after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home nation.
